"@Avamander @Droogstoppel13 @LundukeJournal "Predictable" interface names. riiiigght ens192 and ens135.1 are soo much more intuitive than eth0 and eth1. I have never had an issue in the last XX years with interfaces. Udev is fine for linking a name to a mac if needed"

"@the_void_is_nil @Avamander @Droogstoppel13 @LundukeJournal Well I also manage a hybrid farm of several hundred cloud and on-premise server as well as distributed VMs and devices in the field I still disable the "predictable" naming. I find that the predictability of eth0 being the first interface is easier"
