"The upper hierarchy of the Catholic Church votes Democrat. Theyve been doing it for decades in spite of abortion euthanasia same-sex marriage and gender theory. This is why there is a HUGE disconnect between them and the Catholic base (priests and laypeople). Its because they have a disconnect with the Catholic Faith in general. These disconnects will continue to grow as the upper hierarchy becomes more irrelevant to the Catholic base simply because they no longer represent the historic Catholic Faith. Sadly the Church wont fully recover until this generation of Democrat-voting Catholic"
