"The way to look at TDs is that theyre mostly an upgrade to internal bank ledger systems. From that perspective theyre great because now its much easier to move money 24/7 within the bank globally. When it needs to move outside the bank it gets swapped to a stablecoin automatically. Its not meant to be some highly interoperable form of money that directly competes with stablecoins"
