"Today in Amuru as I presented part of our manifesto I began with what matters most: peace. Without peace there are no schools no hospitals no salaries no future. Peace is the soil in which all development grows. I reminded our people how far we have come from the 16000 people of Kilak in the Constituent Assembly days to 247000 today strong and healthy. In Pabbo over 38000 residents now enjoy piped water and every village has a safe water source. We shall soon extend this to more towns complete solar irrigation schemes and build reservoirs for year-round farming"
