Newsom got rid of two gas oil refineries in California that's why gas prices are through the roof. He also put a gas tax on diesel. So any truckers that are hauling Goods get taxed more. Yes California is closing two major gas refineries: the Phillips XX refinery in Los Angeles which is closing by the end of 2025 and the Valero refinery in Benicia which is scheduled to close in April 2026. These closures will remove Valero refinery: Announced plans to idle restructure or cease operations at its Benicia facility by the end of April 2026. Phillips XX refinery: Began its shutdown process in October 2025 and is set to end active fuel production by the end of 2025. Other closures: This is part of a larger trend with other refineries"

"We got our brothers mail in ballot for years he moved to Washington State in 2014. I contacted the local election office several times it took years. My grandfather who died in 2022 he lived with us for a while so we got his mail we got his mail in ballot after he died in the 2024 election. We mailed it back saying he died"
