"Yes interest is great but have we considered teaching kids about earning interest Did you know when an asset has increasing scarcity (decreasing supply) simply holding the same amount mimics the effects of earning interest (you have higher percentage supply over time). However even if you do earn interest on an inflationary asset (like the US dollar) you're losing your purchasing power over time as your percentage supply decreases.
