Quick story: one of my Colombian employees just set up a brokerage account to start investing He bought mostly US stocks because theyre dollar denominated. I asked him why and he said throughout his life the dollar has always appreciated vs his local currency so he only wants dollar assets. So he takes the pesos I pay him buys dollars and then takes those dollars to buy dollar assets. This is basically @SantiagoAuFund milkshake theory IRL"
