"Having been through the SEC whistleblower process the story reads as if a whistleblower had a meeting with the SEC. Ive been brought over the wall in two investigations over the years. Secure email channel. Had to sign something. The lawyers at SEC arent subject matter experts and dont easily understand complex situations imo. Neither case ended in any charges relating to any information I provided. Could be early and the average SEC investigation takes four years.
