"The CocoBod managemrnt is causing more harm than good to Ghana's Cocoa sector. Ever since the CEO publicly announced that Cocobod has over [-----] tonnes of unsold cocoa beans global cocoa prices have plummeted by about $500 dropping from $4200 to $3700 per tonne. The cocoa industry is highly sensitive and he cannot afford to speak as if they were still in opposition. As mentioned previously back in March his statement about increasing the FOB (Free on Board) price led farmers and Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to hoard cocoa supplies.
