"Nigeria launches Africas first Aeronautics and Management University (IBUAM) to train pilots engineers and aviation experts locally. Average overseas pilot training costs exceed $30000 per student with many Africans spending up to $130000 in the U.S. and 80000 in Europe. The initiative backed by the Ministry of Women Affairs and NDDC will provide scholarships and fund training for over 1000 students across XX Niger Delta states. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo says the move will attract foreign investors and create a self-sufficient aviation ecosystem across Africa"
