"So to summarise the overreactions I am seeing - Manchester United either dragged out negotiations to pay what Brentford wanted or they just negotiated all this time just to pay the price they wanted anyway It's confusing watching people act like Manchester United waited XX days to make a bid that would be accepted for Bryan Mbeumo. If Brentford keep upping the asking price there then you have to walk away but the club need to do everything they can to find a way to get this deal done. "The next step is not for Manchester United to walk away from the Mbeumo deal. It's for the club to speak to Mbeumo's representatives & get them to try & assist in brokering the deal whether it's Mbeumo agitating for the deal to happen or otherwise. Brentford are a stepping stone club their whole model is based upon that. If they are holding their players to ransom I don't know what message it sends. The deal structure how much is up front add-ons etc were as much of an issue as the fee. Waiting on Marcus Rashford to Barcelona Jadon Sancho to Juventus Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea Antony anything with Tyrell Malacia & Altay Bayindir.
