"It might help to define the terms 1) real warrant - DRSd warrant (includes Cede owned warrants 2) warrant entitlements - warrants displayed in broker accounts. Since brokers arent DRSd their real stash are entitlements as well 3) phantom warrant entitlements - warrants displayed in broker accounts that were distributed to shares that were lent at the time of distribution OR naked short sold warrant entitlements. If you exercise a DRSd warrant GME gets $XX and you receive a newly issued share. Shares outstanding goes up by X. If you exercise a warrant entitlements (real or phantom) your broker"

"Keep in mind Cede & Co.s warrants are at Computershare as well. If you DRS a broker held warrant it would remove one warrant out of Cedes DRS position and add one into your own (DRS at Computershare). If you exercise a DRSd warrant it would remove a warrant from your DRS warrant position and give you a newly issued DRSd share. If you exercise a broker held warrant it should remove a Cede owned DRS warrant and give Cede a newly issued DRS share. You would receive a share entitlement at your broker. You could DRS that entitlement for a DRS share"

"Yes. Think of it like a phone call but if the person doesnt pick up at the time you call it gets rejected. Fidelity can initiate the transfer but you need a contact at Computershare to pick up the phone and they are reluctant to provide it. @Malone_Wealth did them all the time for QNTM but their transfer agent made it easy as they provided direct contact from the receiving end"

"I dont think wed have a way to know for sure. It could break down at DTCC as well. Broker could receive the $XX give it to DTCC. DTCC should give it to GameStop who would then issue a new share. However the broker could give it to DTCC and DTCC could (hypothetically) just credit the broker with a share"
