"Lighter can do many things better than Hyperliquid not just in terms of architecture and infrastructure: The buy-back and burn of $HYPE using retail trading fees is completely on the wrong side of the curve. That mechanism is what made HYPE go up and Im glad it did but its not what will make it competitive or sustainable. Using fees to fund a public liquidity pool (or vault) essentially protocol-owned liquidity and then using the vaults profits to buy back and burn @Lighter_xyz token is simply superior. - It reduces potential conflicts of interest between the percentage of revenue allocated"
