"Random flight of fancy thought - We know long range drones and cruise missiles of varying speed are going to be a major issue in future wars. - Drones like Shahed-136 are cheap enough to be produced enmasse and such a challenge requires cost-effective solution. - Here's a brainwave - Can we have squadrons of HTT-40 and IJT/Yashas equipped with gun-pods and CCMs to take down such drones And leave the more expensive fighter jets for their core tasks --- --- --- Low cost (relatively) option to deal with low cost mass attack vectors.
