"GOI needs to stop playing musical chairs with procurement. If it feels that Rafale are too expensive it should simply say so and be done with it. And not indulge in stupid games - someone in MOD wants XX% indigenous content on Rafale when we've not reached the same by value on our own Tejas Neither is the HAL nor the DRDO going to deliver anything on time and nor are imports going to come. The external threat scenario is changing by the hour in the neigborhood but the GOI thinks putting out stupid rankings of IAF's power is a substitute for hardnosed decision making"

"- The author thinks that GOI claiming the credit for Uri Balakot and Op Sindhoor is equivalent to politicisation of the armed forces. - This dolt doesn't seem to understand that the armed forces work on the direction and orders of the government of day. - Armed forces are an instrument of state policy and do not exist in vacuum. Their employment is done to achieve political objectives. - So if the government of day decides to use the armed forces and achieves its objective it has every right to claim credit for employment of arms"

"I would really love to see someone take these supposedly simple and yet profound solutions to their logical conclusion. Consider this - - Range Astra MK2 - XXX km - Radar on Tejas Mk1A - 150km - Range to Target - 200km. (Your adversary also has 200km range missile and a fighter which can guide it all the way on its own) So how does Tejas Mk1A paint the enemy a/c at 200km and guide the missile when its own radar does not have the matching range as the missile Solution X - AWACS provides the enemy a/c track to Tejas Mk1A through a DL which in-turn sends it to Astra Mk2 for mid-course guidance"
