That way they can get money from the general public and no longer have to worry about acquiescing and asking for IMF and World Bank loans Plus it will make the finances of these cities less dependent on IMF/World Bank money"

"A limestone mining project by African Minerals and Steel Limited has been approved in Karonga. The company received a 15-year licence and plans to create at least XXX jobs. A processing plant will also be set up in Mzuzu. The project is awaiting final environmental clearance from Mepa. It is expected to reduce Malawis reliance on imported lime and support local construction and agriculture"
