"To practise what I preach I spent the past XX days (60+ hours) digging through @EclipseFND airdrop data. Found Sybils with a total allocation of 1049033 $ES requiring next level autistic sleuthing. Shared everything with @Alucard_eth. I know TGE is approaching but hoping the team can act on this. I could have used that time and effort to Sybil farm and actually profit. But I'd rather earn by contributing positively not by making this space worse. Token distribution matters. Sybil hunting should be incentivised. "They've done their job at building a product that works well. Orca Solend nd Invariant supported them early on. Astrol Umbra and Mushi are trying to build but the current user base lacks purchasing power. Attracting devs & tvl isn't easy. look at many other chains expect the top few. Key points that relate to Eclipse: $ES has been live for less than a week. Way too early to call it dead. Airdrop day is the WORST day of a team's life. The pressure the noise the greed. There are good people in crypto. But TGE day is when you see the most disgusting parts of humanity. TGE wasn't perfect but what airdrop ever is. But I get it. expecting to profit and then actually loosing quite a bit sucks. Here are my honest thoughts backed by some data. TGE is one of the toughest things a team has to manage balancing community rewards price protection and limiting toxic participants. Eclipse's TGE had a lot of hype. Expectations for ASC were too optimistic. for example at 500M FDV and X% going to ASC that's $25M or $2.5K per ASC. It was these"
