"That is literally an entirely baseless claim with no source and I can post the entire sexual assault section of Federal Law if you need me to. It literally doesnt even say that in the screen shot it says investigation no where does it require that an investigation has to have any evidence at all. Thats doubly untrue because in Canada you dont press charges in most federal criminal cases the police decide if charges should be pressed not the victim. Are you American Please dont comment on ours countries laws if you do not know them"

The way that municipal police in Canada interact with the law is different ESPECIALLY in sexual assault cases.
