"ICICI Bank was rerated few years back from P/B of XXX to XXX because it cleaned the mess of Old lady CEO. The current CEO Sandeep Bakshi did phenomenal job of cleaning NPAs and growing PAT over low base YoY (20% CAGR since Covid). There was a time when Hdfc and Kotak used to trade at premium but after Covid ICICI took leadership. Now ICICI again at a point where growth will slow down due to high PAT base and its premium valuations will derate back to Kotak & HDFC which are P/2.6 - XXX Today smart sharks unloaded slowly and now it will touch 1300 levels soon.
