"The other thing on that play is it was a GO route QBs taught to throw the ball X yds from sideline when a WR inside releases it messes up that spacing but a QB is holding a FS and then coming back and making a muscle memory throw so often the WR never gets back to that spot and you will see ball thrown outside (where its supposed to be) and it misses due to this No one would ever know and they see it as QB missing - but GO throws are timing throws QB doesnt wait to see guy open so what looks like a bad miss actually isnt that bad just messed up spacing"

"Watching an NFL play & I will never understand a coach asking a WR who is running a deeper route (12+ yards) to rub a defender for a short route (5 yards) There is a timing depth and spacing element needed on deeper route so to ask him to adjust at beginning of route in hopes of getting a rub only messes up the whole concept it doesnt happen & puts QB in a tough spot when trying to get to deeper route So my coaching point: if you are looking for a rub then build it so rubbing route is ALWAYS secondary piece of read & never has to go deeper than X yards so he can be where he needs to be on time"

"Im watching QBs like CJ Stroud Bo Nix Jayden Daniels etc take steps back & every week some of better college QBs will make some mistakes & we forget these guys ARENT & SHOULDNT be expected to be FINISHED products Coaches still need to COACH them keep making same mistakes Coach them Missing some reads Coach them Moving through reads too fast Coach them Making some mental mistakes bc they dont fully grasp what you want Coach them Dont just tell them they made a mistake figure out WHY & COACH them I had plenty of coaches tell me Cant Do That or Dont Do That well yeah could have figured that out"
