Since the Reagan Coalition conservative victories at the ballot box have only resulted in tax cuts and deregulation. It wasn't until the election of Trump in 2016 something widely condemned by Conservatives using the same principles you've just outlined that real social victories began to emerge. Virtue and righteousness is determined not just by appearances but by actions.
