It wasn't until the election of Trump in 2016 something widely condemned by Conservatives using the same principles you've just outlined that real social victories began to emerge. Virtue and righteousness is determined not just by appearances but by actions. "Faith without works is dead" and the inability of the Conservative Movement to actually turn the tide of godless Marxism"
