"#Uber and #Revolut used VC money to subsidize early growth - they basically paid for customer acquisition at first using the VCs money. That was the bet. #MultiversX wants to do something similar but with a twist: using token inflation instead of investor capital. They just hope that after inflation capital will come. "Even if I dont fully agree with their plan its still better than doing nothing. $EGLD had a major advantage being scarce carrying the name e-Gold that had strong marketing potential. If the funds had been spent more wisely focusing on blockchain fundamentals and attracting new builders instead of acquiring other companies and hiring hundreds of people who were later fired things could have been very different.
