I believe that the transition to AI in the near term will replace enough of the lower IQ people that there will be a lot of civil unrest because they will not be able to find a job and by extension survive especially once humanoid robots are working . a significant quantity of higher IQ people will still be able to retain a job long enough that most companies won't feel the pressure from a drop in their customer base due to the cost of production decreasing.
