"Ive been saying this for the longest time I dont think tier-1 stablecoins will magically fix all our issues overnight. USDC for example its natively on XX blockchains and many of them are doing worse than we are. So no they didnt suddenly pull magic numbers either. Its just one missing piece that might help. Personally I mainly want it for safety as well as diversifying my risk as none of our native stablecoins are listed on major exchanges. Chainlink is another one. But again these things are just hopeful building blocks not the ultimate solution thatll fix everything. Cardano DeFi doesnt"

"Tier X stablecoins want a set liquidity depth and trade volume. At this point we dont fulfil those requirements and its not viable for them to even come over to Cardano. Theyre a business after all. The alternative would be to pay vast amounts of money in ongoing payments. For those stablecoins to actually work properly on Cardano and hit those thresholds we also need to work on scaling first. Leios is set to go live in 2026 (if everything goes well). So theres a user and infrastructure issue there that needs to be solved first.
