Circle, the issuer of USDC, has applied for an OCC charter to establish a digital currency bank, which would manage USDC reserves, tokenized treasuries, and offer on-chain payments under federal oversight. Additionally, Deribit is offering yields for USDC holders, and several major companies, including Ant Group and Sei, are integrating USDC into their platforms. Native USDC and Cctp v2 are also coming to Sei Network, bringing the world's largest regulated stablecoin to the fastest L1 blockchain.
