"DONT SKIP THIS ⚠ pregnant ladies I know it looks awkward but you NEED to do this. After all you only get ONE pelvic floor As a womens health physio I can tell you this makes a difference. Third and fourth degree perineal tears can significantly affect the long term function of the pelvic floor. Research shows that doing perineal massage from XX weeks during pregnancy can significantly reduce the risk of these tears. AND helps with reducing pain from an episiotomy (if needed) other smaller tears. I know what Id be doing 🩷 #perinealmassage #pregnant #birth #birthprep #pregnancy"
