"MT5 has a setting where you can set any time duration during news just to widen spreads by a fixed margin. Funny how props increase spreads by X times during the X minute news window. Very disappointed to say the least. I'm never the one to complain about slippage but this is fixed spread widening to swing odds in the firms favour.
