"It's soul crushing. I was ordering mostly online from them because the prices were cheaper and I avoided the depressing store experience. But now with their higher prices I'm shopping in person more at Vons Trader Joe's and Costco. Costco now has brought back the 9am-10am shopping for Executive Card memberships. It makes a big difference in the experience. They are actually very strict about enforcing it now. They set up a strange looking but very effective system using the shopping carts to corral people to make sure people have to go right to the worker scanning the cards. "I wish that people like your Dad and my Aunt who is XX could get cash instead of Medicare. We need to return to self pay at small medical practices where the Dr. treats the patient instead of the Insurance Company. My Aunt is not overweight doesn't smoke drinks once in awhile and exercises. Because of those choices she is very healthy.
