"☕🚀 Big moves in coffee today Here's a quick analytical breakdown of what we are seeing: 📈 Price Action: Coffee futures ($KC_F) made a strong move to the upside today suggesting the path of least resistance is higher after the extended consolidation. The intraday fade along with a sell-off in stocks looks more like broad macro risk-off flows than a change in coffee fundamentals. We see this intraday pullback as brief since it is broader macro flow-driven. Soon bullish coffee fundamentals will takeover again and coffee will likely outperform other macro assets. 🔍 Under the Hood: The curve is"

"Whats your take on the Google / $PYPL agreement announced recently AI Agentic payments will be a huge wave of opportunity in the future - OpenAI Perplexity etc are pushing more into the space (automated consumer retail purchases travel booking etc). Soon AI agents will be able to handle seamless purchases and checkouts. If Google integrates PayPal into Gemini that could be huge upside. Gemini is rapidly improving and many (including myself) are increasingly shifting from OpenAI to Gemini"

"@weary_centurion Maybe PayPal should give a XX% stake to Google the same way the AMD / OpenAI deal worked recently 🤣 (joking but maybe not really)"

"☕ Coffee prices are set to skyrocket creating a "perfect storm" of margin pressure for roasters like Keurig Dr Pepper. We think coffee prices could soon go go $5-8/lb (vs under $4/lb today). Why the surge - Critically Low Global Inventories 📉: Stocks are at multi-decade lows due to years of production deficit. Brazil is nearly out of buffer. - Challenging Supply 🌧: Five years of adverse weather (frost heat) in Brazil means lower yields & reduced exports for years. New trees take 3-5 years. - Inelastic Demand 💸: Consumers will likely keep buying meaning roasters will have to pass on higher"

"💯 Its pretty interesting to look at the data - in some years of fairly extreme economic stress in Brazil coffee consumption actually increased. Bears are trying to find any reason to justify why everything will fit their narrative given sharp contraction in exports this harvest and likely the harvest to come. Its kind of irresponsible to start making claims that domestic coffee consumption will drop XX% and offset several millions of bags of lower production to keep exports high especially when theres no source cited and no analysis done to see if this is event remotely possible"

"Nice congratulations. Coffee is volatile. Almost as volatile as Bitcoin in the early days 😂. Diamond hands. Take a look at long term charts spanning several decades - once a breakout occurs it can run hard. The breakout to upside is not yet firmly established but its moving in that direction. Seasonality favors strong November (best performing month of the year historically)"

"🚨 BEAR CALL DEBUNKED The "pending XX% collapse" call for Brazil's domestic coffee demand is not just misleadingit's historically highly improbable and unprecedented. ☕ Our analysis of XX years of extreme economic stress (hyperinflation debt crises severe recessions) shows that Brazilian coffee is a non-negotiable daily staple not a luxury. Consumers cut major purchases but their small affordable comfort remains. Key Data Highlights: - In XX years Brazilian domestic consumption NEVER declined by more than XXX million bags. - Demand stayed stable through hyperinflation & the worst modern"

"A 1970s redux should be good for coffee prices ☕ the bull market in coffee is just getting started. The last coffee peak prior to the recent run up was $3.65/lb in 1977 (equivalent to $18/lb today inflation adjusted). Since then it took XX years to hit a new high. As coffee analyst @SpillingTheBean has been saying for years the world is running out of coffee. Global stocks to use will be at the lowest level in more than XX years"

"We think the fundamentals support that bullish setup. We think near-term coffee could go to $5-8/lb. Our recent analysis projects a long-term bull market through 2030 with a potential upside of 300-450% to $15-20/lb on surprises by Mother Nature. Here's a link to our long-format write up on the bull case for coffee: The bullish case is built on three pillars: X. Critically low inventories: Global stocks are expected to hit dangerous lows in 4Q 2025 / 2026 potentially falling below levels seen during the 1970s price spike. X. Weather volatility: The upcoming 2026 harvest in Brazil will likely"

"☕📈 Seeing chatter about the seasonal coffee inventory rise at EU ports this week Our analysis shows coffee inventories always peak around August (see chart with 2015-25 reported data). 2025's increase (+6%) is actually below the 10-year median (+10%) No need for alarm it's a milder seasonal wave this year. #KC #Coffee"

"@weary_centurion @acce What's your take on $PYPL as a potential takeout target Many of the potential strategic buyers (both public and private) trade at significantly higher valuations and a deal would make sense for most strategic buyers"

"Thank you @MEM64530898 - yes it seems that dryness is a growing concern for the Brazil 2025/26 crop - we agree with your analysis that we could see a sharp upward move in coffee prices given low global inventories and risk to the upcoming Brazil crop. MG experienced several heat waves over last couple months and accumulated precipitation is running below historical levels during October. La Nina historically corresponds with dryness in MG. As @SpillingTheBean pointed out recently some of the flowering in MG this year shows pink flowers (which eventually wilted and fell off the tree). Maja"

"$PYPL has a huge installed base of users with strong brand recognition and trust thats one of their strongest assets. Management should get creative and start expanding native app / wallet functionality to more revenue generating opportunities. The new Genius Act opens the door for a lot of creativity If they get it right and start to become creative the stock could easily re-rate much higher"

"Thanks good report - most of the move in coffee is driven by supply-side fundamentals. Coffee prices were stuck in a 50-year trading range of $1-3/lb while cost inflation continued to increase and consumption continued to grow each year. The global coffee market has reached an inflection point where we may be faced to pay more for each pound of coffee due to a global depletion of inventory. Global stock-to-use are at a 50-year low and production in many regions such as Brazil is plateauing given climate challenges. Arabica coffee trees are very sensitive to climate volatility and the last 5"
