"BlackRock didnt buy anything. They just farmed the fees they charge on their ETF. The actual buyers were investors who bought through their ETF. Which is perfectly normal considering all the CEXs were having issues and during a flash crash its hard to move fiat on chain and buy. But its very easy to do it from your broker where the fiat is already sitting and BlackRocks ETF is probably the best option you can use in these cases.
