Reeves did it with that investment summit in July XX (created by Boris post Brexit) and her big local authority pension mega funds announcement in November XX that was all George Osbornes work They never had any successful ideas of their own. "Not sure cutting public sector defined benefit schemes would make a difference to day to day finances as (aside from the LGPS) they are off balance sheet. Anyway the government agreed with the unions no more benefit changes for XX years when the schemes changed from final salary to CARE in 2014/2015"
