"Doug we need to do the absolute opposite of what you are saying. The internal combustion engine is an inferior and dying technology. To protect jobs and our economy we need to make a deal with Chinas BYD company as well as Tesla to bring EV manufacturing to Canada to retrain and employ our workers and to utilize our automotive parts manufacturers. We need to remove the EV tariffs on Chinese vehicles and embrace the future which is EVs and full self driving. When people realize that with good EVs such as BYD and Tesla that have a good range you can plug your car in at night like a cell phone"

"Ori we need to get the IDF and any other Israeli law enforcement agencies out of Gaza and bring in peace keeping troops from other nations. Any child or parent of a child who has life-long injuries such as amputations shouldnt have to be surrounded and controlled by the people that did this to them. This is just continuing the torture. "I agree that President Trumps administration is unwittingly doing things that are harming the US. But as a Canadian I have to say that he has given us a wake-up call and we will never be as economically dependent on the US again. He is also supporting the dying internal combustion engine industry and hopefully Canada will move forward to the superior technology of EV manufacturing. With regard to Israel every US administration has supported it in its treatment of the Palestinians for the last XX years.
