You're referring to and are correct about Australian exports of thermal coal as your topic is the Australian economy. Australian exports of coking coal will continue to increase to meet global demand (steel making). India and China have a lot of thermal coal (most of which is high carbon emission). Neither have sufficient reserves of metallurgical coal of the qualities required for coke making (will come from Australia US some others) IEA forecasts"
