"biggest problems in bittensor imo X. theres no cryptographic guarantee of what model ran what input was given and whether the output was untampered tldr: no proof of inference X. network is decentralized but much of AI work seems to be happening on centralized gpus / clouds X. fragmented liquidity thru subnet tokens. lots of small disconnected economics. so tao is used for mining and validation but not necessarily as the unit of real world demand for ai"
