"Is it more centralized Yes. You can't have 'protocol owned compute' and not have some centralization. I want to say a few things to that. X. It's only a part of the portfolio of providers on Akash. People outside of the Starcluster system still can and will put their assets up adding to decentralization. X. There are issues with 'community compute'. Mainly - lack of reliability - you put your work into a provider and it shuts down for some reason - isn't good for enterprise applications. "I agree 100%. The problem is again - reality doesn't work the most efficient way for the provider it works that way for the consumer. If a customer comes and needs this and you don't have it - you don't have a customer. We don't have to worry about the risk as $AKT holders for this this is SB holder risk. "The reason Solana is better for new DePIN is because if you dont have product market fit its hard to pay for the cost of security. (See cosmos chains trying to rid validators) But this validator system is vital to why Akash is so resilient and is a strength. Akash has PMF with growing revenues and product suite to match.
