"This is IMO one of the open hard problems that eg: Siri couldnt solve and Limitless/Friend must try to solve but its really hard. The problem: you can't do everything yet and can't answer all possible queries. How do you get as close to doing everything + communicating to users what you can do The standard failure is users can't grok what's possible vs not try out a few things they fail and are unhappy. "I'm always impressed by Stripe Atlas (and similarly: Stripe Press). In terms of being: probably short-run unprofitable deeply prosocial mostly purchasing mindshare and creating long-term company value in other ways. Like sure Stripe Atlas helps improve the odds that startups use Stripe Billing but is it actually good RoI from a top-of-funnel angle at the cost of focus I honestly don't think so - it feels a lot like building this really good primitive for its own sake for the sake of the industry for the sake of doing good things that will make others respect you more. Probably helps hiring"
