"Not really accurate. Ive been in the jewelry industry for over forty years. If you deal with a refiner you can put a lock on your metal and guarantee delivery of x number of ounces. Some companies also offer XXX% buy back of their serialize bars of which you can lock a piece. You just call and say what is your base and for a lock and if you like it you can have them lock it. You would need to setup an account but if youre putting serious money into it why wouldnt you"
