"Thats why I don't invest in $ROOT and my money stays in $LMND. On paper $LMND looks way more expensive. But the market buys narratives far too often and not always fundamentals. I've seen it time and time again. The narrative is: $LMND is going to eat the world because they are the first global AI automated insurer potentially serving every line globally with superior loss ratios - $LMND can go to 100s of billions of market cap - currently sitting only at a X billion market cap. Buy the best not the undervalued second best"

"1) Where have I dismissed the turnaround I agreed its impressive I am just dismissing your cherrypicked points for comparison stock prices. And I know churm and cash burn have been tamed. Can you read what I just said I fear you don't understand me. I was explaining why the two stock prices had different trajectories and you cannot compare those. 2) I don't disagree only from where we are going from here. Time will tell. 3) You know that both companies are on completely different stages in their auto insurance journey $LMND is just getting started. They are carefully selecting their customers"

"$LMND can easily 5x quickly before any of your fundamental advantages of $ROOT come to fruition (will come back to those later). Then do a capital raise and continue scaling. I get your point though. I just dont think the market is as rational as your are - and even then its up for debate. So many variables. You break it down to just a few core business ones. In the end it may not play out to only those"

"Lot of people in my $LMND circle are initiating positions in $PATH. To me its not overwhelming (Ok Investment). @PaperBagInvest here manages once again to explain it in a easy understandable way. My money stays in $LMND"

"Ive been thinking about this for a couple of hours now and while the tax implications make holding $LMND even more attractive for me Id still hold it even if there were no tax implications. Why Because I dont know any other stock where I have this much conviction in its moat and in the certainty of it outperforming. Sure there might be other undervalued stocks out there - but I cant know whether the market will ever change its mind about them. This is especially true in the short term where investing starts to blur with trading. Ive seen you for example trading $LMND for $ROOT - and thats"

"@bjmtweets @PaperBagInvest I know about choice support bias and believe me: I don't think that I have. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sell out of my all-in $TSLA position for the same reasons. I saw $LMND and made the switch. Since then I haven't seen a better opportunity"

"And by the way I tried. I opened up positions in $UPST $PATH $OSCR $AMD $REAX $PYPL $LFMD $HIPO $ROOT $FVRR $DN3 $SOFI $FUBO $HIMS. I read their earnings letters listened to the calls. In the end I sold every single position at some point again. (To be fair: Some ran better than $LMND from my point of sell)"

"I remember vividly owning $TSLA in 20192021 when it went up 20x. It was always one wedge after another before the price broke out to higher highs. Looking at the charts below you can see the same thing with $LMND now. I don't know where it's going but damn I'm ready for it 🍋"

"I knew it was only a matter of time before the $ROOT fans would show up (which is totally understandable). 1) When you pick $ROOT's bottom you're cherry-picking a data point. Both companies have very different histories - not only in terms of share price but also in company performance. $ROOT's churn and cash burn were catastrophic which it turned around impressively. $LMND on the other hand was far more stable - both in its downturn and its turnaround. So it's totally natural that it would outperform $LMND from its bottom. Let me return the favor of cherrypicking a datapoint: $ROOT is down"

"I get where you're coming from and its not wrong. I just think it misses a whole lot $LMND is also doing. Like building a global automated insurances with a brand loved by customers. Insurance for example is not only about how to get customers cheap but also how to keep them. Or crosselling on them. And don't forget about all the other work insurers have to do internally. Your comment focusses on a small percentage of the "what does an insurer""

"@bjmtweets @Neil_X10 I think you are mistaken that $LMND is focusing on LAE. They are focusing on building the autonomous organisatzion. LAE is just a side effect of that"

"Can you explain to me: 1) Why is $LMND more constraint by RBC than $ROOT 2) Why do you think can their imbedded model better be scaled than $LMND's It somewhat a very complex comparison like apples to oranges because its a totally different approach. Making predictions here is very difficult imho"

"@bjmtweets @jaybananabread @Neil_X10 Ah I think heres the answer to my last question. But it misses the Synthetic agent model $LMND is using which is an answer to the massive upfront capital needs"

"For the first thing I disagree. As Hyundai or Toyota if I had to chose the more competent one in terms of tech I would chose LMND. That tiny mistake (with unfortunately consequences) would play a smaller roll. Just make sure that does not happen again. As for risk&rate: both companies are just at a different stage with LMND just getting started on car. And has a different strategy for now. So. completely open how this plays out"
