"Trade wars tariffs social unrest @ home government shutdown ballooning deficits voter buying illegal activities by Congress inflation Feds tied hands dollar abandonment $137T of debt & Federal obligations . All at the Federal level of our government. A complete reset may be in order. Our future as a nation gets more dismal every day. When a single casual sentence posted by a sitting President on social media can suck $X trillion out of our investment markets in one day we are so far from good that hope just doesnt cut it anymore. $2T is about 2/3rds of our governments annual operating budget."

"I no longer believe that big banks (JP Morgan Chase Citi and Goldman Sachs) are bellwethers for economic fundamentals. They are more probably bellwethers for lowered interest rates which (usually) increase loan activity while lowering loan payments. Lower interest rates in a debt crisis are no more than a bandaid to mask the fundamental monetary losses. Banks dont make anything and they only provide their services to those who already have wealth. That doesnt stimulate the XX% of the population who have been the foundation of the economy. Most Americans now feel the instability of this"
