"@James56487175 @marketsgonewild I don't believe truflation. I left the country for a year came back and was pretty shocked by how much prices went up"

"@ShaleTier7 I don't have enverus. Does Enverus get you an accurate viable DUC number I thought that was hard to come by"

"Remember me posting that offshore $RIG $SDRL $VAL $NE looked impulsive off the lows but needed more of a pullback Well we could get that as oil comes down. And oil price coming down during Q4 will kill 2026 capex plans. Toss the "record production" in the trash because even if true that's all pre-Trump inauguration activity. I would wager it's a combo of fudged data exhuberant activity after election open chokes on all the wells trying to sell before surpluses hurt price and increased GOM. Activity and productivity are going down this will show up in 2026 and it will take a lot from price to"

"Entrepreneurs aren't the problem or necessarily the solution. It's the alphabet soup of state and federal agencies + the Sierra club and other eco-orgs that are at issue. And solar isn't a chokepoint. That's ridiculous. We have way more energy than China does. If our electricity is expensive it's because of the aforementioned parties. We definitely do not need solar especially Chinese solar to have cheap energy"

"$BTU is absolutely bonkers. I doubled my core position from $XX to $XX and there wasn't a day that went by where I didn't want to punch the CEO in the face for the Anglo acquisition. I have sold off that trading position on the way up selling the last shares yesterday. Right now the technicals are quite good but I'm not entirely sure why it is rallying - and I didn't expect to get here so quickly so I haven't thought about a fair price for selling my core position. Best thing is probably to just not think about it for a while"

"#4 is ridiculous. Our electricity is expensive BECAUSE of solar and the climate bros. If we got rid of the climate bros the Sierra Club the alphabet soup of Govt agencies and were all nukes gas & coal we'd have the cheapest electricity on earth. Plus our supply chain for energy is way ahead of anyone else in the world despite the left's best efforts to destroy it"

"Whoa big fella. First I said "throw out the XX numbers" on the screenshot. because they aren't apples to apples due to the acquisition. Yes I could go back and re-read 10-k's and releases but it's saturday and I have X kids. Second point is that despite cutting back on drilling they are still completing wells for the whole year at the same pace they were drilling in Q1 prior to tariff-gate. I'm just pointing out that - despite the rig drop - it isn't really slowing down their overall - for now. It is does cut into DUCs though"

"But all truflation provides is backward looking changes. I think it suffers from the same issues as CPI - not capturing real change. It definitely looks light for the last two years. BTW - I don't think it has any predictive value so not sure if it's relevant if you are forward looking"

"$FANG - Throw out the 2024 numbers because of the Q3 Endeavor acquisition but if you look at Q1 pace then the august projections their planed completions for 2025 XXX and their pace in Q1 was XXX per quarter so they are not really going to slow down this year. Not sure if others are doing the same but the reality is the May-July cuts will not show up until 1H26. Any further cuts will show up in 2H26. This is the oilfield version of the fool in the shower"
