"@cjsbishop That's when it peaked and it was dropping until it recently changed direction. Could it have something to do with your borrowing and spending. For the 2025/26 financial year the New Zealand government plans to borrow NZ$38 billion. What are you doing with $XX billion" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 09:01:59 UTC X followers, XXX engagements
"@Farmingwithwalt Who says they should How do farmers get a price for produce And are you insured if the weather ruins your produce" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-20 19:43:25 UTC X followers, XX engagements
"@nannypicker @latimeralder The UK developed coal and gas power generation because back when it did it was the best bang for buck. You don't need to be told thermal generation is no longer affordable. So using more renewables saves gas and keeps prices down. If you're not buying fuel you're saving money" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 20:28:56 UTC X followers, XX engagements
"@latimeralder My first electric car cost $16'000. It's done over 100'000 kms. Saved enough to buy a brand new car for $50'000 that's done over 65k in X years. The leaf replaced a Honda Odyssey that cost more but died after 80k. Modern LFP batteries are awesome" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 10:48:05 UTC X followers, XX engagements
"@JoYohana @TrevorH53038397 @NZPoetry Sounds like they should get better insurance" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-22 04:46:53 UTC X followers, X engagements
"@nannypicker @latimeralder When I started work I biked to save for a car. I realized I didn't need the car so I kept saving. But a change of jobs wnd new longer commute meant I had to buy a petrol car. Keeping a car fueled and maintained meant I wasn't saving. Who can afford to burn fuel" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 20:12:45 UTC X followers, XX engagements
"@latimeralder It means that by replacing old internal combustion machines with more efficient cheaper to run machinery money can be made. I'm no farmer but an electric car and a heat pump that replaced a diesel heating system are both saving me money. Who has the money to burn fossil fuel" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 10:19:24 UTC X followers, XX engagements

"@latimeralder The initial payback period for electrifying the Forest Lodge Orchard was estimated at 11-12 years. However due to rising diesel prices this has reduced to about XXX years. The payback period could be under two years once in full production" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 09:41:15 UTC X followers, XX engagements
"@backblock100 @CitizenBomber So you still stand by your original post labour ended coal. When Genesis started importing coal X years before the ETS legislation. And now you're saying the UK has rolling blackouts" @Dysfunc80937081 on X 2025-07-21 04:39:42 UTC X followers, XX engagements
