You are correct in saying the writing was on the wall however President Trump was undoubtedly the catalyst that set off the decline. It was a stab in the back to his closest rural allies and thats what has me upset. Im not saying theres nothing he can do to make up for it but it was an unnecessary betrayal and will keep a lot of rural voters home in the mid terms if he continues his current rhetoric"
