@MisterMM_ "@Aaronwest_ @skylarromines This is mostly anecdotal. Of course some doctors aren't perfect. No one is perfect. And not everyone responds the same to certain medications. SSRIs work for some people and not for others. That shows the deep complexity of mental health disorders"

"The original theory of depression that it was caused by too little serotonin and dopamine was too simplistic that's why raising it didn't work in most people. The brain is extremely complex and there are hundreds of different neurotransmitters so it's incredibly challenging to pinpoint the exact cause and cure"

"Yeah we understand the mechanism. I never said we didn't. We don't understand its interaction with mental health. The drugs aren't a cure for everyone but they help manage the symptoms. That's their purpose. They are a lifeline. The same can be said with cancer. We know how cancer works how it replicates yet it's incredibly difficult to cure. This is peer-reviewed scientific literature. This isn't something I've made up. This is something that's agreed upon by millions of medical professionals around the world"

"I like the look of $SRPT. Despite the brief pause on ELEVIDYS they still have solid business and pipeline. I have a price target of XX. Will be keeping an eye on their earnings next quarter"

"@skylarromines This is a very harmful uneducated take. Mental health disorders are a real physiological change in the brain. They are not "made up" or "normal responses". Why are we listening to information from uneducated random people on the Internet again"

"With drugs you are not applying "just a band aid". These are life-saving medications. Doctors prescribe them in worst-case scenario when nothing else has worked. If the person is so down that they don't want to live anymore and have trier therapy tried changing their lifestyle and yet nothing has worked. Would you recommend they just "switch up their environment". It's easier said than done. Additionally they aren't intended for lifetime-use that is up to the patient's discretion. You act like they put them on these drugs for life when they don't"
