"Finally Found A Driver I've Been Searching For: JD McDuffie I am sure a lot don't care but I think it's pretty special. I finally found a JD McDuffie diecast in good condition. He is one of NASCAR's most persistent drivers known for his wealth of top tens (106) but having never finished on the lead lap. Because of that he never achieved victory lane. He never won in Winston Cup or the Gran National Division. He strived for great things worked extremely hard and did the best he could. The orange material inside surrounding the car also scratches the car. I highly recommend tearing that part of the packaging instead of trying to pull the car out. "GL Mold Pretty Sturdy. GL vs. EL Side by Side I've seen a lot of decal errors on GL mold cars but I will say I think this is certainly a step in the right direction. The base is sturdy. On all molds (PTC and EL) of Gen7 cars if you squeeze the center of the chassis it feels hollow and ready to break. These GL mold cars are tight and have a good stance to them. Now they just need to work on the decals so that they aren't off and have little chips on them. The changes from the EL to the GL or not significant either. It's a great step in the right direction. To make them look similar to the Gold Series line I decided to color the window net black on a test car. I'm not sure if it looks better or not.
