"Since my $MI.UN got acquired at a 31% premium in January hold no more pureplay REIT names in my main account. Open to adding CAPREIT / $CAR.UN but have never done so yet. Could it be next to get acquired "Smart money" doesn't wait for optimal conditions before they strike. Two years ago CAPREIT was seeing 30% rent growth at turnover. Today it's just 1.5% and -8.3% for units turning over within [--] yrs. I warned y'all that rents would cool much faster than people expect and we're still in the EARLY innings here.
