"still no tps benchmarks for tachyon. there is another failed project called mina protocol that tried a similar approach and failed to achieve high transactions per second in practice. why not figure it out first before going to token2049 shilling this as the holy grail to privacy scaling Consider the massive downside of requiring history to remain available on the beefy servers that will form the "oblivious syncing service." better to make sure the tradeoff is even worth it first. (the downsides are a showstopper for most people in any case. this looks very different than "encrypted bitcoin")"
