"I lived in Salt Lake City. Gorgeous place I loved the actual city. But contrary to popular belief it's not a "mormon haven" it's a progressive hive. I'm talking hardcore Jill Stein-progressive types. The LDS live in the suburbs. SLC is about as progressive as Seattle or Portland but without as much violence and crime. So this ghoulish shit doesn't surprise me"

"While I was an exmo I dated this very active/faithful LDS girl. Her parents (also very active/faithful) were very suspicious of me and were concerned I would corrupt their daughter. Fast forward I converted served a mission and am now ride or die LDS. The girls parents and siblings are all exmos and her mom worships the divine feminine.
