"Not sure if they still do ties but Dominique Lelys used to design the ties at Arny's a legendary men's store on the Left Bank of Paris. Their designs were quite playful similar to Hermes. Lelys now does a line called Artums which may be worth a look if you like the Hermes's style but want something more unique. For more about French style check out my friend @RJdeMans's book Swan Songs which is about the rapidly disappearing world of craft-based menswear in France. It's a passionate well-researched book about some of the great French makers many now lost to time"
