"The chains are not for users ( Layerzero and relay) these chains they serve as an infra. The infra needs to be much better with an increase in volume. If not there would be a very dire problem if the volume exceeds the infrastructure capacity. As for @RelayProtocol the relay chain is built to handle more load in regard to cross chain settlement and exchange. The relay chain offers a much faster settlement with lower costs and a much more efficient liquidity compared to what was available in the past. In summary the better the infrastructure the better the experience. Welcome to the future of"
